Hop on the train from Castleton Moor to Whitby to explore the cobbled streets and gothic Abbey (17.5 miles). Visit the castle at Pickering (21.5 miles), and Castle Howard (25.5 miles), and head to Dalby Forest where there are miles of thrilling bike trails (30 miles). Go walking in the North York Moors, and fossil hunting on Sandsend Beach (13.5 miles), Staithes Beach (11 miles) and Runswick Bay (11.5 miles).
