This area is ripe for exploring by foot and by bike as the Tamar cycle trail is just 7 miles from the property and the Dartmoor National Park is 9 miles away. The ancient stannary town of Tavistock is a 10-mile drive and offers a marvellous selection of shops, restaurants and culture. For a fun day out, head to adrenalin Quarry, 27 miles, where you can clamber over rocks and whizz down a zip line if the mood takes you.
