On arrival, you’ll first notice the beautiful outdoor space that this property offers, set beneath a towering tree with a bistro set and far-reaching views. Take a few steps up and into the property to be greeted by charming country elements and extremely comfortable furnishings. In this studio-style space, there’s a cubby with a king-size bed on one side and a kitchenette on the other, complete with armchairs by the wood burner at its centre. The kitchen facilities are enough for rustling up light meals and the shower room is accessed just next door. Within walking distance of the River Wye and the England-Wales border, you’re well-positioned to explore Wy Valley beauty throughout your time here. An ever-popular walking route that follows this direction is the Offa’s Dyke Path, a route that plots up through Monmouth (4.5 miles) and beyond. Monmouth itself is a vibrant little town with a castle, independent shops and plenty of pubs and cafes. Heading deeper into Wales, find other local towns including Abergavenny (16.5 miles) and Usk (12.5 miles) worth a visit, each with its own independent spirit and with walking routes to trek all around them.
