This attractive barn conversion set in North Devon’s beautiful countryside is the ideal rural retreat for friends or families. It has been sympathetically converted, allowing it to blend into its wonderful surroundings, whilst retaining some of its original features and providing guests with lots of space, both inside and out. You’ll find it easy to sit back, relax and immerse yourself in the tranquillity of the countryside. One of two properties at this location, this attractive barn conversion offers reverse-living with the open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen areas accessed by an external flight of stairs. Inside, the guests will be impressed by the sense of space created by the vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and light walls. The warm wooden tones throughout create a comfortable and relaxing feel. At one end is the well-equipped kitchen/dining area, whilst at the opposite end is the lounge. The areas are separated by the stairs leading down to the two bedrooms: 1 with a super-king-size bed (which can be made up as a twin beds on request) and 1 with two single beds (which can be made up as a super-king-size bed on request). Both bedrooms have TV's. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with a patio, and an impressive shared play area. Surrounded by miles of countryside, this property is still only 5 miles from market town South Molton with its thriving range of independent shops and eateries. Located 9 miles from Exmoor National Park there are endless opportunities for scenic walks, breathtaking views and mouth-watering cream teas in quaint tearooms. The town of Barnstaple is 16.5 miles away and offers lots of amenities including a swimming pool, cinema, museum and much more. The National Trust’s Knightshayes (17 miles) has a beautiful house and gardens to explore.
