Head to Summerleaze Beach which not only has a huge expanse of sand, but also a semi-natural tidal pool, ideal for days when the Atlantic Ocean is in full force. Join the coastal path here up to the Hartland Heritage Coast or head 25 miles south to discover the Arthurian legends of Tintagel Castle. For local shops, walk the 1 mile into the market town of Holsworthy where you can also sample a delightful traditional Devon cream tea.
