The cottage, which is one of two barn conversion properties at this site, is ideally situated for exploring Cornwall's north coast, located twenty miles from two of the region's best-loved seaside towns of St Ives to the south and Newquay to the North. The fresh country air and tranquil farmland surroundings make this cottage a delightful place to stay for those who want to enjoy a peaceful getaway and yet still be within easy reach of beaches, attractions, and excellent restaurants. Perfectly-sized for two people, the vaulted beamed ceiling in the lounge/diner not only adds charm to the cottage, but also affords a fantastic sense of space. Whether guests are looking for a simple low-key seaside holiday or are hoping to explore the cultural highlights of the region, Little Merrose is ideally situated all of this and more. No two days are the same, spend a day browsing the galleries in St Ives, and another taking a surfing lesson on Newquay's Fistral beach, or maybe you'd prefer to head across to the magnificent Eden Project, forty miles to the east, where visitors can wander the tropical gardens before enjoying a thrilling zipwire ride high above the famous golf-ball shaped domes.
