Keen cyclists will enjoy access from the doorstep to National Route 26 of the National Cycle Network, and foodies will find a pub that serves food 0.5 miles away. Yeovil town is just 4 miles up the road and has a wide mix of eateries and shops to peruse. The pretty village of West Bay is 16.5 miles away and has two lovely beaches. A little further down the coast is Cogden Beach (19 miles), which sits at one end of the lengthy and fascinating Chesil Beach, part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. Visit the superb cave network of Wookey Hole (27.5 miles).
